Jessica Terrell, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner & Speech Pathologist
Jessica Terrell is a licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the Clinical Director of Building Blocks Speech & Language Therapy. She is committed to providing high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming care and ensuring that every child and family who enters the clinic feels supported, understood, and empowered.
Jessica founded Building Blocks with the vision of creating a practice that delivers exceptional therapy through teamwork, compassion, and evidence-based intervention. As the clinic continues to grow, she focuses on clinical leadership, supporting the therapy team, and maintaining the highest standards for family-centered care.
Outside of her work, Jessica is a proud mom to her one-year-old son, who inspires her daily and reminds her of the importance of early connection, communication, and joy in development.
Jessica holds professional trainings in gestalt language processing (Natural Language Acquisition) and AAC.

Cearra Bermudez, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech Pathologist
Cearra Bermudez, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Cearra was initially inspired to pursue this profession after her brother was diagnosed with autism and benefited significantly from speech therapy, an experience that demonstrated the profound impact effective intervention can have on communication development.
Cearra is deeply committed to helping children achieve their speech and language goals. She has professional experience across a variety of settings, including daycares, private practices, and schools. Her clinical expertise includes working with children who present with stuttering, receptive and expressive language delays, autism spectrum disorder, and articulation disorders.
Cearra strongly believes that building collaborative, positive relationships with families is essential to successful therapy outcomes. She actively partners with parents by sharing her professional knowledge and strategies to support skill development within daily routines.
Outside of her professional role, Cearra enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling,and making homemade ice cream.
